Development Coordinator – Israel Free Loan


The Israel Free Loan Association (IFLA) was founded in 1990 by Professor
Eliezer Jaffe to provide interest-free loans to low-middle income Israelis
and small business facing financial hardship. In the last 26 years IFLA
has provided over 57,000 loans totaling over $250 million dollars.

IFLA seeks an experienced development professional to join the expanding
Development Department. This position reports to the Development Director.


– Conduct prospect research on foundations, corporations, and
individuals to identify potential donors
– Develop and maintain relationships with donors
– Maintain calendar of grant proposal Letters of Intent due dates for
submission and reports
– Assist in writing, research, and submission of grant proposals
– Complete donor reports to foundation and corporations as required
– Document all donor cultivation activity through Salesforce
– Assist with creation of marketing materials, including monthly
e-newsletter, annual report, and other mailings
– Assist with organizing and coordinating special events
– Perform other related duties as assigned


– Two years experience in fundraising
– Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
– Detail oriented
– Must be personable and outgoing, and work well with staff, Board
members, and donors
– Experience with donor management software preferred, Raiser’s Edge or
Salesforce a plus
– Must be able to manage confidential information with integrity
– Must take initiative and be able to work independently as well as
being a team player
– Flexible hours required
– Available for travel abroad
– English mother-tongue and fluent Hebrew required
